Aloo Tikki



Serves : 2

Cooking Time :  10 minutes

Ingredients :
  • 4 boiled potatoes peeled
  • ½ cup boiled peas
  • 1 tsp of ginger- green chili paste
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tsp of coriander powder

  • 1 tsp of cumin powder
  • ½ cup of coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying


Method :
  • Take a bowl and mix the boiled potatoes, peas, ginger-garlic paste, coriander leaves, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt.
  • Add 1 tsp of lemon juice.
  • Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes.
  • Then divide the mixture equally in 10 balls, and press softly with palms and dip it in bread crumbs.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan, add oil, once it is hot, add the pressed balls in the pan, and fry it till golden brown on both the sides.
  • Aloo tikki is ready to eat.
