Makhana Ladoo


Serves : 15 – 20
Preparation Time : 30 minutes
Cooking Time : 10 minutes

Ingredients :
  • 2 cups Makhana roasted
  • 1/3rd cup Almond roasted
  • 1/4th cup Pista roasted
  • 1/4th cup Walnut roasted

  • 20 - 22 deseeded dates
  • 4 tsp ghee
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp desiccated coconut


Method :
  • Take a pan and heat 4 tsp ghee and cool it down.
  • In the same pan roast the almond for few seconds, remove it in a plate, then roast the pista, walnut and deseeded dates remove all of them in a plate and let it cool.
  • Roast the makhana till it turns crispy and let it cool.
  • Grind the dry fruits coarsely - almond, pista, walnut and dates one by one and remove it in a large bowl.
  • Coarsely grind the makhana.
  • Mix all the grinded ingredients together, add the cardamom powder and desiccated coconut, add ghee and mix it all together and bind the ladoo, applying ghee on palm, give it a round shape.
  • Sugar free ladoo are ready.
